Horley Row, Surrey Specialist Care Project
The client for this project was Field Lane, a long established charity that provides care and support for a diverse range of service users, including adults with learning disabilities, vulnerable families – many of who are homeless – and people in need of additional support to stay in their own home or with their families. Martello was appointed by Field Lane as Architect, Contract Administrator, Quantity Surveyor and CDM Principal Designer for this project in Horley Row, Surrey – for a conversion of an existing house into 6 x 1 bedroom units with en-suite to provide supported living accommodation including shared space areas.
The Principal Contractor for the project was Spencer Francis, who we have worked with on a number of other successful conversions for Field Lane (Woodchurch, Leigh Road, Rother Crescent, Betchworth

Martello Building Consultancy were appointed by Folkestone & Hythe District Council/Creative Folkestone to act as Employer’s Agent for this project in Payers Park, Folkestone. The project was to bring a dilapidated piece of land back into use in Folkestone Creative Quarter as a public park and art installation as part of the 2014 Folkestone Triennial.
